Totally called that one. Check last week's review if you don't believe me! Just ignore my other possibilities to make this one totally legit.
I had issues with sound. My TV wanted to play the music really loud and the dialogue really low, so I missed some dialogue. But! Still a very enjoyable episode. I especially enjoyed Clara having to go in the Dalek and the way Missy antagonized her. It's so hard to tell just what Missy is up to. Though it seems like she wants The Doctor to herself. Especially with that stunt she pulled trying to get him to kill Clara in the dalek suit.
Also, I admit, I was fooled by Davros' weakness and wanting to see the sunrise one last time. I'd make a horrible Doctor.
He saved child Davros! Of course he did. Though, tbh, I wouldn't have really blamed him if he didn't after that damn stunt with the regeneration energy.
OH! And sonic sunglasses. Not too sure how I feel about that. I hope the screwdriver makes a comeback. Maybe by the christmas episode? He still has yet to give River her sonic.
Can't wait for next week!

Missy was fabulous, and it made me feel so naughty for loving her as much as I did. I absolutely adored her in this episode, and it is my favorite one with her thus far. I think what I loved the most was how, even though I knew better, I was starting to think that maybe she was going to change to help the doctor... but she didn't. She pretty much does whatever the f' she wants to do, and doesn't give a rat's about what anyone else thinks about her.
When Clara got inside the Dalek, for a split second I was thinking, "Oh, this must have been how she became a dalek in season 7..." and then quickly dismissed it, because that was already explained and I was thinking too hard. I found it fascinating how Missy knew exactly what to get Clara to say while she was inside the Dalek, and I'd like to know more about that.
Then it came to Davros, and again I knew better but it took me off guard. I was starting to get feels for the blasted thing... and then BAM! He's got the doctor trapped and he's stealing his regenerating energies. Which explains that picture, and HA! to all the bums who thought Peter was leaving this season.
...and this is when it gets silly. The Doctor is all, "Oh man, I knew all the time." to everything. I kinda wanted to smack him upside his head for that. But, I did enjoy how he went back in time to actually save Davros just so he'd understand mercy.
Lastly... the sunglasses. Really?! I facepalmed. Also, I absolutely want to own a pair, dammit.
