Review
I think I would have given this 5/5 for the ending alone. I bought this as soon as I could when I realized what it was. Something familiar, but also new. I was definitely intrigued for the swap, as a Twilight fan. Obviously those who didn't enjoy the original story probably would enjoy this. It's pretty much the same story with some situations tweeked to fit the swap. I've heard a lot of negativity surrounding this book, but I really enjoyed it for what it was.
I was not expecting the ending at all and it broke me. Honestly. That epilogue just hits you right in the damn feels. I understand the reason for the alternate ending, and I do almost wish this had happened in the original.
The reason this is only 4/5 platypires for me was because of some of the new names. I loved Beau and Edythe and Eleanor. But the other Cullens/Hales annoyed me. Maybe it was because I was holding onto the original too mcuch, but someof them just didn't feel right.
I'm glad I got the book and it'll forever be on my bookshelf.
