In this novel, we learn why Reyna is troubled and angry. I never expected to connect with her but I did on so many levels. This is what is so awesome about Amy Daws books. You will connect with the characters, you will weep with them, cheer for them, and more importantly you will love them. Not The One took me on a roller coaster of emotions in one single reading. I laughed, I cried, I screamed, and I wallowed.
This story goes back and forth between Reyna’s past and present so the readers can learn about the incidents that made her so jaded and hurt. Also another thing that I loved about this story is more Frank. If you are an avid reader of the London Lovers series, you will love this book because you get more glimpses into the life of our favorite ginger. This story ties in perfectly with the last book, London Bound.
I thought the story flowed perfectly. The dialogue was on point. I would definitely recommend this story to others. I give this story 5/5 Platypires.
