My Review
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
3 1/2 Platypires for Lipstick & Zombie by Faith McKay
The title and cover are what drew me to this book. It's pretty badass. Now I really did not know what to expect as far as the story goes. I was genuinely surprised with the synopsis. A rock band formed during the zombie apocalypse. Okay... I can get with that. Lol
At first, I was really confused because of the different POVs. It was hard to remember each girl because of the constant change. But by the end of the book, I feel I was able to distinguish them. YAY!
Now as far as story, I thought it was pretty good. I did at times feel the girls were really annoying but they are teenagers. So the teen angst was front and center.
Overall, I enjoyed the story and looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
