My Review:
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
4 Platypires for The Kiss by Michelle Bolanger
I was gifted a digital copy of this book for an honest review.
I heard about this book after I did a new release segment on the Platypire blog and I was immediately interested in reading it. I really liked the cover and thought it looked great. After the first few pages I knew I was going to like it and I was in for a new experience. Some of the foreign words did kinda throw me off just a tad but luckily they were translated. I still have no clue how to pronounce Empfangerin but it did not slow down my reading. Actually I read this book in about a day or two because it was a really addicting read.
The writing was great and very descriptive. The story never lagged because it had a really good flow. I really liked the the characters Koen and Leis. I do wish Leis had more of a backbone but that a personal preference. I tend to gravitate towards really strong female leads. Not saying she was weak just wished she had more sass.
The book is considered "Clean NA" which was actually refreshing to read. I sure do enjoy some kink to my romance books but this book does not hold back from the passion. Its just very tastefully done.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book and would highly recommend to those looking for something new and different to read.
