Review
I was a little skeptical about the content of the second book when I started reading, since it focuses on what was going on with Polli while Semya was working on the case from the first novel. There's very little, retelling of the main story, only a few things here and there where Polli helped and it's completely her side (like how she got them in to Maska).
It was a little too fast paced for my liking. It would have been nice to get a little more depth to Polli and John's relationship. And the book was over before I knew it, but I really enjoyed the story from Polli's perspective.
We're also given a very tiny glimpse into the mystery of Josh Heinz. Nothing major, of course. We're apparently supposed die of suspense a little bit longer *laughs*.
4/5 Platypires! Now excuse me while I dive into the next one.
