YASSSSS! Five platypires for Fred! Again!
It's no secret that I'm totally addicted to Fred's story, but this book was seriously hard to put down. It's fascinating to watch Fred and the gang delve deeper into the parahuman world Drew's words paint, and it's really kind of glorious how Fred insists on remaining this completely moral accountant in khakis and sweater vests, despite every opportunity that's presented to him in his undeadness.
The third installment of Fred's saga has been the best yet, with the story evolving with each book published. I can't wait to see what's in store next for the gang, as there are definitely a lot of things that could work out against our heroes, and no doubt Drew has a few more proverbial monkey wrenches to throw in the mix for good measure
