Review
I really, REALLY wanted to like this book. And the basic plot of the book is one of those adorably heart wrenching love stories I totally get into. And there were definitely some great bits. But as a whole, it was just okay. I really struggled to get into it. The insta-love wasn't convincing, and while there was a bit of internal dialogue about it, there weren't any external actions, which made it challenging to connect to the characters.
Towards the end, religion is laid on so thick, it basically brings in a paranormal undertone. As a personal preference, I felt that was overkill.
