One Second After is a 2009 fiction novel by American writer William R. Forstchen. it is about one community's struggle to piece back together there lives after an unknown enemy to America detonates a nuclear bomb in the upper atmosphere. The trials and tribulations of finding food staying alive day to dat and even dealing with other groups raiding and pillaging.
While the book is well written and flows easily it does require a greater understanding of history to fully appreciate, as it deals with much more than most people learned in high school. I give this book 5/5 Platypires.
