Love & Gelato compares to Cinder & Ella because both main characters, who are teenage girls, lose their mom at the beginning of the book and are forced to go live with their father that they don't know.
Cinder & Ella compares to Archer's Voice because both main characters have a physical disability that happened at the result of a accident, and they are viciously bullied by their peers as a result.
Archer's Voice compares to Virgin River because both main characters have suffered a tragic loss as a result of gun violence and both took off from their life in a big city to settle down into a small town.
