Some of the authors were new to me, and they now have a fan for life. From the opening paragraph of the first story to the last sentence of the last story, I was hooked. I was drawn in. The characters were compelling, and in most cases I found myself rooting for them to destroy anything and everything. Each internal and external conflict was well defined for each story. I honestly enjoyed each story that was written and presented in the anthology. I will definitely recommend this anthology to everyone who loves to read horror stories. I give it 5/5 Platypires.
Spring Break by Kasondra Morin
Just A Little Fun by Andra Dill
My only issue, and it's just slight, is that I felt some parts were too wordy or went off topic more than I cared for. But it's seriously minor.
I actually had to go back and reread parts of this one because I wanted to. And now I'm going to have to check out the author and see if she's written anything else I'm interested in reading.
Fleeing Justice by Sherry Foster
Dame of Death by Ava Mallory
For the entire read I was clinging to my kindle, needing to know what was going to happen next. There was a lot going on, but in such a good way.
I didn’t like that end though… because it ended. I wanted, nay, needed more from this one. It was cruel and unusual to let things just stop there.
The Age of Beasts and Men by Nadia Blake
Willa's Way by Aria Michaels
Is there going to be more to this story? I need to know for sanity reasons. Because it is necessary in my life if there is to be more of this glorious thing.
Namukasa by Eli Constant
Also, this one keeps coming back to my mind, it’s really sticking with me!
Chronicles of Steele by Pauline Creeden

Blood on a Texas Moon by Diana Layne
Holy crap, this story. I can’t even express words. Just know… wow. And gawd damn.
I had some issues toward the end though. I felt it was rushed, which made me sad. Because this story was so great. I was pretty sure it was going to be a 5/5 for me, so I was slightly disappointed in how things turned out.
Obviously the end isn’t actually bad, or I’d not have liked it as much as I did. It’s still good… but it just wasn’t up to par with the rest of the story.
Come With Me by Lee Hayton
I love it, I will definitely be looking for more from this author!
