The Fine Art of Pretending by Rachel Harris
My rating: 4 of 5 stars This was a very cute adorable read. We've all seen those movies where the romantic leads pretending to be dating but are in fact falling for each other. Well as a chick-flick fan this book hit the right spot. Yeah the story-line was a tad predictable, but I was still very much entertain. I couldn't help but root for the characters Aly and Brandon. They were just adorable. I also really liked the fact that POVs were changed between them and you got to know what they thought of each other. Overall this was a fun read and I can't wait to read more from the author. This year I am started to rate books based on diversity. I give this book a B+ for diversity. Taste the Heat by Rachel Harris
My rating: 4 of 5 stars I was kinda hesitant about reading this book because I had met the author before hand. I like attending book bashes where you get the meet a lot of indie authors and so far I haven't had a lot of luck liking their books. This wasn't the case. Taste The Heat was well written and I liked it. The romance was kinda predictable and little bit pg 13 for me but overall it was a good read. I would recommend this book for fans of Nicholas Sparks.
