This is one of the best books I've read. I liked all of it. The book is called Brown Boy and it's about a little boy named Malik who is brown. His mom takes him to the civil rights museum and talks to him about how some people are afraid of people who look like him. This is bad of those people. But I liked everything his mommy talked about even though some of it made me sad. My mommy talks to me about those things too. She showed me pictures of when she went to that museum too, and even bought me a shirt. Maybe one day I'll be able to go there. I am sad that people can be mean to other people who don't look like them.
