About the Book
Ove had never been asked how he lived before he met her. But if anyone had asked him, he would have answered that he didn’t.
Review
First of all, when I read this book I thought it started slow. I was meh about it, honestly. I even debated not finishing it, but then I figured Sofia would judge me. So I kept going. It didn't take much longer before it got good. And holy crap did it get good.
The characters in here are so well done that I adored so many of them. At first I thought it was just a story about some grumpy old man. Nope. This is feels. All of them. There's a lot of parts that made me laugh, a good number that made me legitimately angry, and also this damn book made me cry.
Fun note: I did not realize this was a translated book and was fairly confused for the first chapter. That might have been what caused my original issues with the book.
When I originally rated this book I gave it 4 platypires. But this is one story that just haven't left me, and even though I read it about three months ago I can still feel the tug on my heart.
