Review
Anyway, the world in split into two people. Those with silver blood, they have all the money and some pretty epic powers, and then the red bloods, which don't have money or powers.
EXCEPT Mare finds out that not only does she have her own power, but it's really strong. And now she's involved in something way beyond anything she ever expected. And the drama levels are above 9000.
Despite all the cool things going on, there is something about Mare that seems to be lacking. Made it hard to really get into her. But there is so much going on that I can easily overlook not connecting with the main character.
What I really liked is, even though there is a lot of things that happen that shouldn't have surprised me - I was pulled into the book so thoroughly that I overlooked a lot of it. I found myself almost annoyed with how often I was taken off guard actually.
Although there is a love triangle going on, it's really more in the background of everything else that's going on.
Mostly of all, HOLY FLUFF - THAT END! OH MAI GAWD...
Anyway, I'll be needing the sequel yesterday.
