Review
I want to first say that the story is interesting. Although it is weird to see a 24 year old who needs to be in her parents custody, I ignored reality for the sake of the story. After doing that, it did make it a bit more enjoyable.
There are a lot of inconsistencies that happen throughout the book. At first I thought I'd missed something, but I'd go back and reread to make sure I understood everything.
Mostly this was frustrating to read. Not even considering the grammar issues, of which there is a good deal, it just doesn't flow well.
It's also a tell without showing. I had no connection with any of the characters.
I will say that it's an interesting plot. It is also readable, which is why this wasn't marked DNF.
