Christian Robb is a twenty-four year old woman who is stuck at home and forced to live with her controlling parents. At the age of sixteen, she was in an accident that resulted in short term memory loss. When two men enter her life, she has to figure out what's true and what's not- because everything is not what it seems.
I want to first say that the story is interesting. Although it is weird to see a 24 year old who needs to be in her parents custody, I ignored reality for the sake of the story. After doing that, it did make it a bit more enjoyable.
There are a lot of inconsistencies that happen throughout the book. At first I thought I'd missed something, but I'd go back and reread to make sure I understood everything.
Mostly this was frustrating to read. Not even considering the grammar issues, of which there is a good deal, it just doesn't flow well.
It's also a tell without showing. I had no connection with any of the characters.
I will say that it's an interesting plot. It is also readable, which is why this wasn't marked DNF.
