SYNOPSIS:
An ambitious intern. A perfectionist executive. And a whole lot of name calling.
Whip-smart, hardworking, and on her way to an MBA, Chloe Mills has only one problem: her boss, Bennett Ryan. He's exacting, blunt, inconsiderate—and completely irresistible. A Beautiful Bastard.
Bennett has returned to Chicago from France to take a vital role in his family's massive media business. He never expected that the assistant who'd been helping him from abroad was the gorgeous, innocently provocative—completely infuriating—creature he now has to see every day. Despite the rumors, he's never been one for a workplace hookup. But Chloe's so tempting he's willing to bend the rules—or outright smash them—if it means he can have her. All over the office.
As their appetites for one another increase to a breaking point, Bennett and Chloe must decide exactly what they're willing to lose in order to win each other.

RENEE'S REVIEW

Beautiful Bastard by Christina Lauren, is very hot. I bought the paperback of this book back in the summer to take to Book Bash in Orlando.  At that time, I had not read anything by Christina Lauren.  I've always kept up with blogs and Goodreads to know what is going on in the romance book world.  Authors can't get as much attention as this dynamic duo and go unnoticed. I didn't realize yet they were a duo!  I didn't get to see them at Book Bash, that event was unreal big.

I skipped over this book (I know I'm bad) and started with Sweet Filthy Boy.  Let's just say it hooked me right away.  Then it was on!!! I was fan girl, stalker.... had to read, meet them!!!

Well enough about me, Beautiful Bastard is like an opera. You know one that builds you up and is tantalizing, and then all of a sudden there is this big eruption of sound! That's kind of how this book is with words!  Christina Lauren knows how to write a sexy book, they also know how to put heart in their books! The characters are so believable, you really want to hate Bennett at first, he is a bastard. Chole, she is kind of a bitch, but they are really so great together.  The more you get to know them the more you begin to love them.  This book was mostly about the hook up but there was a plot. I loved seeing the change in the characters through the book.

So, you have the intern Chloe.  She is very smart, but her boss, Bennett really doesn't give her the credit she deserves.  She calls him Beautiful Bastard to her friends.  They walk a fine line with each other between love and hate, they have a deep attraction for each other.

Then you have Bennett, he is the son of the owner of the company. He is a total jerk at first anyway. He is a very dirty talker and a panty stealer. By three-fourths through the book he will redeem himself and will grovel! Yes women prevail!

I'm glad I got a late start with this series, I'm glad I didn't let negative reviews hold be back from reading an awesome book.  Now, if those same people were to read it again and review it again, how many do you think would change their review based on the success of the book?  Well I honestly do not review based on popularity of an author, which has lost me lots of brownie points in the past, but this book deserves better reviews than what I saw!  I think it was great!

I give Beautiful Bastard 5 Platypires
Or 5 stars however you like to count things

BAMA Love!! ROLL TIDE!! And Keep Reading Y'all!
