Auburn Reed has her entire life mapped out. Her goals are in sight and there’s no room for mistakes. But when she walks into a Dallas art studio in search of a job, she doesn’t expect to find a deep attraction to the enigmatic artist who works there, Owen Gentry.
For once, Auburn takes a risk and puts her heart in control, only to discover Owen is keeping major secrets from coming out. The magnitude of his past threatens to destroy everything important to Auburn, and the only way to get her life back on track is to cut Owen out of it.
The last thing Owen wants is to lose Auburn, but he can’t seem to convince her that truth is sometimes as subjective as art. All he would have to do to save their relationship is confess. But in this case, the confession could be much more destructive than the actual sin…
My Review:
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
5 Platypires for Confess by Colleen Hoover.
Oh this was just a great read. Colleen Hoover knows how to pull those emotional heartstrings. Seriously after the first 10 pages I was already in tears. Damn you Colleen! LOL!!!
I am a huge fan of PostSecrets and thought the concept of this book was right up my alley. Seriously, I could read confessions/secrets all day. Colleen Hoover was able to make this concept and romance into a very well written romance.
Owen, an artist, makes art out of anonymous confessions left at his studio and those confessions are his inspiration. As fate would have it, Auburn gets hired on the spot to help with one of his shows. Sparks fly but in true, Hoover fashion there is a lot of drama.
OMG the roller-coaster was just a great ride.I read this book in just one day and was left a bubbling mess. But a good mess. Highly recommend this book to fans of contemporary romance.
