THE PLATYPIRES INVADED THE HOUSTON AUTHOR BASH! We took names, we took swag, we bought books, we took pictures, and we sure did have a lot of fun. Joood, Bob and myself took the HAB by storm. It was great to meet so many new authors and to see authors we've met before. We started the event at Nely Cab and Lindy Zart's table because Joood and Bob were volunteering as their table. Then we proceeded to make our rounds and try to visit all the authors. Unfortunately, I did not get to visit everybody because I had to skip out early due to work obligations. But I sure did have fun and can't wait to go back next year. I did see a blogger friend at mine at the bash. Its always great to see reader friends. Here is Heather from Book Whores R US. She was the PA for Sarah Greyson. BTW Sarah Greyson said she wrote her books just for me, so I guess I need to actually read them. lOL! We had to stop by author Daryl Banner table. I think I can safety say he's a favorite among the Platypires. So many authors and so little time. I can't say enough that we really had a great time. If you attended the event please let us know your thoughts and if you have any pictures of the Platypires please post on our facebook wall.

I want to first start off that I got to meet the author at Houston author bash earlier this year. I was immediately drawn to the cover of this book. I just think it's a beautiful cover. This was the only physical book that I bought at t...
