Emma leaves Weslyn and everyone in it behind to attend Stanford University, just as she always intended. A shell of her former self, she is not the same girl. She is broken, and the only way that she’ll be whole again is through forgiveness. Emma must find a way to forgive herself and recognize her own worth before she can receive the love she deserves. This final installment will have readers holding their breath until the very last page.
Out of Breath by Rebecca Donovan
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
3 Platypires for Out of Breath by Rebecca Donovan
I need to start off by saying I really did not like the change of POVs within each chapter and the only way of knowing was the change of font style. Not my cup of tea at all and at times it was confusing. IMO it truly messed up the flow of novel and was a bad idea for the last book in the trilogy.
Now that being said, the last book in the Breathing series was pretty decent. It was a lot slower than the other books and was more internal emotional drama than actually action. At times it was too much emotion where I actually had to take a break from the novel. I was getting too frustrated with the characters and how they were dealing with PTSD. The adult in me kept wanting Emma to get professional help.
Other than this book being slower it was still a good read and overall I would recommend the trilogy.

I want to first start off that I got to meet the author at Houston author bash earlier this year. I was immediately drawn to the cover of this book. I just think it's a beautiful cover. This was the only physical book that I bought at t...
